why am i coughing if im not sick and i dont smoke?

im 16 years old and i been coughing for about a week it sound like wet cough i have no idea how to explain the cough .....
i dont smoke and i dont have a fever or anything im just coughing for no resone what do u think this may be???????
i didnt get a cold or a flu recently so i dont think its from that and i dont have astma.... im not having any runny nose or itchy throat and no one in my family is sick they keep the place pretty sensitized and clean......

it's the flu. i been having really bad itchy throat. i talk to my doctor. they said it was the flu. the cough is so bad. every time i cough its to the point i get a head ace.

Did you just recover from a flu or cold? Some times it can take a while to recover.
