its probably you just not being use to that type of environment. Have you been around people that smoke in the past, like on a day to day basis or just once in a while? If its once in a while then I don't see why you wouldn't have a problem breathing. It happens to me too because I'm not around people that smoke. But if you have been around people that smoke, I would check with your doctor about this.
