I'm a 15 year old female and my mother was never really strict until she found traces of marijuana in my drug test. She lost all trust in me and it took me forever to get her to even allow me outside. I understand drinking and smoking is not a habit I'd like to develop but I don't understand why other parents don't care and why parents think its bad, even if the kid does well in school. Why should I not smoke weed and drink? Feedback would be great.

Ask you parents , mom or dad, to take you to a bar late one night..... sit in the corner and watch the *fools* act out.... watch and see what happens when *adults* lose control of them selves..... It worked for me !!!!! go in peace..... God bless

Prolonged smoking of weed could cause damage to the brain. When you're 15, sorry to say just like a brand new car. Excellent performance, reliable parts. However, problems would start to come when you're older (35+??).

Alcohol can be bad if not consumed in moderation. Bad for the liver and the brain too. Depending from the alcohol content, some drinks can cause death. In some Asian country some people died after consuming locally produced drinks with alc content found to be greater than 50%!

Don't forget to think about the cost of the weed and alcohol.

Let's see...Oh, yeah!! It's illegal to drink until you are 21. And it's illegal to smoke pot no matter how old you are. And there is a reason for that. At 15, you are not able to handle it. Your mom cares about you. And some parent's don't care about their kids. So count yourself lucky to have a parent concerned about your well-being and get your act together.
