Question about Blackberry Pearl 8100?

I have recently purchased a Blackberry Pearl 8100 and would like to know 2 things that I can just not work out:

1. When phone rings, is there any way you can press a button to silence the ring like you can with Nokias so that it can continue ringing until voicemail kicks in?

2. How can you extend the number of rings on the Blackberry before it switches to voicemail?

1. Just press the Volume button's on the side.
2.The call should last about 30 seconds then it go to voice mail automatically. What you could do is Make the number of vibrations to 1.
