My contract with tmobile is about up, and I was trying to decide on the G1 or iPhone. I have a great old plan on tmobile and theres not enough to switch me over to the iphone and AT&T.
I would like to know however if there is any word (not rumor) that google will be releasing a new version of the google phone in the near future. I would hate to get the g1 just to have a new version to come out a month or two later.

The G2 will be released for Vodafone-only customers in April 2009.

Since T-Mobile has an exclusivity for North America, I would not be surprised to see it soon here BUT there is NO word at all about a possible future release for T-Mobile.
