a regualer dvd on my lap top works great and i dont see a differance to a hd dvd

can someone tell me whats so hot about hd dvd compared to reg. dvd on lcd tv?

A smaller screen you will not noticed too much of a difference. However, once you hook up your DVD to a biggere TV/ screen you will notice a bigger difference
