unlock code for t-mobile shadow?

I use AT&T carrier and a friend of mine got stuck with the t-mobile shadow. i had been looking for a smartphone and a this friend loaned this t-mobile shadow to me to try it out BUT it is locked by t-mobile so i cannot use it. Does anyone have the unlock code for the t-mobile shadow? that would be great. otherwise, i will just give it back to my friend. thank you all for your help.
