You should like compare the stereotype with the real one just so no conflict comes up later. But it depends on your direction and in what direction your taking your writing.

im wonder on what i should do.. i mean i dont knwo if i should add the steroe typical teenager in it or not? i mean i have chapter 1 done, and im just wonder while your writting what steroe types should you stay away from? if there are any you should stay away from.

write about the stereotypes you know of. but a kind you should stay away from would probably be an airhead jock or a self centered chick... like a girl that doesn't care about anyone.
