    Why is my internet slow?

    im using mozilla. i know that my computer don't have any kinds of viruses... i don't share my internet .. when i open one single page, it takes 3 minutes to load, when i play a youtube video it takes 30 minutes to load! and it's not supposed to be like that. oh and yeah i cleared out my cookies.i turned of my avg because i read here someone said that it could slow down internet (the antivirus). it still isn't working. what should i do?

    oh and by the way, my computer has a lot of free memory.

    download crap cleaner from ccleaner.com,and get a new free antivirus called avast from avast.com then delete your old anti viris software

    you don't have virus or trojan? r u sure ?
    so use ashampoo firewall in ur pc.
    most of viruses try to connect net via explorer.exe then block all of them.

    Try disabling unwanted things from Start-up.

    Click Start -> Run; In the Open box type msconfig and then click on OK or press Enter; Select the Startup tab; Locate the start-up entry you want to disable.

    Internet may be slow due to the following reasons.

    it might be that your internet service provider is the problem
    it might be that your network interface card is not functioning well so try to disable/enable it or uninstall and install the hardware
    It might be that you have problems with your operating system, especially if you experience slow speed after software installation
    It might be that the port where your ISP connected your line is saturated
    It might be there are updates running in your computer that you are not aware of
    it might be that you have spywares, malwares or maybe virus
