    Will DVD movies look crisp and clear on HD monitor?

    I am going to buy Samsung 2233 SW HD monitor. I just want to ask if i play DVD movies on it will they look crisp and clear or they will fade?

    The picture will be different. With your HD screen it will appear less "jagged" but a bit more blurry (my preference), as with a low quality monitor it will appear jagged.

    This is because the computer should be able to interpolate the DVD to fill those additional pixels.

    no, a DVD will look the same on a HD moniter as on a Standared moniter
