Is Obama being President simply the "reason" people complain about the NAACP,

BET, the Black Caucus, and? Miss Black America? It seems all of this was irrelevant BEFORE Obama was elected President. You didn't hear any complaints about the NAACP, BET, the Black Caucus, or Miss Black America. It seems Obama has become the "reason" now to complain about all of this. People (like Thomas SR) don't the know the difference between racism and segregation.

And this...........coming from the same people that would praise Jim Crow laws. I wonder how many people on here would have "fought" for equal rights of blacks when they had water hoses and dogs put on them in the streets. I bet no one who complains about the NAACP would have stood up for blacks back then.

I complain about the N2acp and I can guarantee you that I have no problems with another race, creed, religion, or gender.

Now, all this other stuff you have said about BET (who cares) and the rest I don't know about.

I'm talking about what they have done in my state, the use-to-be-great-but-as-of-now-questionable (I'm hopeful with the new governor) state of NC.

Quite honestly, I live in a predominantly black area which is rural(I'm white) and I think the Naacp has held black people back, as of lately (like the past 20 years)! I would have no problem fighting for equal rights and I will not grovel so that you believe me.

But this organization, naacp, has transformed to hold colored people back. Read my other posts to see my claims b/c this question came up just after I stated them.

If you think I'm racist, so be it, but I've had plenty of conversations with intellectuals who would say other wise. Then again, I don't give a f--- what someone esle thinks about my thoughts.

To your answer your last thought, yes I would stand by a black man against the "water hoses and dogs" (your words) instead of exploit him as so many of the brethen of the naacp have done today.

Anyway, who's the president... when I watch basketball (you can stereotype me since I'm from NC) I pull for one color and thats the color on the jersey and that's the same with my country. I'm against the KKK as well and these, with the Naacp, are becoming similar.

Who's going to quell the riots? When a black reverend of GOD tells me to be armed in case Obama is assasinated, I listen... would you?... Derek

BO or no BO If you can't have a NAAWP, WET,the White CAUCUS or Miss White America then you should not have a Black one. I've said that for years . Discrimination is discrimination .

    Derek,

By you justifying your position, you my friend are a racist. Miss Black America, NAACP, BET, UNCF, has been relevent in this country for many years but you can't see it. They are racist organizations and Obama being elected has proven that widespread racism is dead, except in the black society.

Your race card has been cancelled......time to stop playing the victim and grow a pair.
