i heard about this can this realy work?
Keep in mind you will not be able to exceed the features of your modem. But there are a few things we can do to assure things don't get in the way.
Go into control panel. Open Device Manager. Find and right-click on the picture of your Modem->Select Properties.
In the properties tab, adjust the settings
* Increase the baud rate to 115 kbps
* Eliminate the stop bit, along with parity.
* Enable full duplex mode.
* Enable Differential Pulse Code Modulation ( DPCM ), if possible.
Close the window, and exit device manager.
Now again go into control panel, and open Network Settings. Right-Click on Properties and disable Quality of Service ( QoS ) - This feature reserves bandwidth for moments of high usage. Although reliability is better, the pipeline is markedly slower.
You should get a measured performance boost.
