which cell phone is better (in your opinion or not)?

oke well i want a cell phone and i have narrowed my choices down to two phones the Samsung Rant and the Samsung Gravity

which do you think is a better phone

and or facts supporting it would be great

because i want this phone mainly to text..take pictures..instant message....and to use multimedia like music
