    Is the sonic boom satellite in the sky going to hit earth and possibly hurt people?

    It is possible, but doubtful. I believe the satellites involved were the size of a bus and when the two crashed they produced about 500-600 pieces of space junk. They will probably burn up on reentry when they hit the atmosphere.
