Moto Razr runs out of battery in less than 75 mins?

I just bought myself a new razr from a radioshack employee for 60 bucks (personally)..it was in GREAT condition and everything works great texts, calls , sounds etc. ( i dont know which type of razr it is exactly ) but i have charged it for over an hour and it said charge complete..... afterwards about 10 mins later the battery was already half full after 10 mins !

My old razr which is 3 years old (the very 1st one ! the ORIGINAL) lasts almost 2 days with a full charged battery and still works
but i gave it to my dad so i cant use it no more.

anyway the razr i bought is from T mobile , but it works with At&t carriers which is mine
first of all did i get ripped off or not ?
why is this happening ? is it the phone thats messed up or is it the battery ?

do i need to get a new razr battery ?

the battery may have been sitting flat for a few days, which may have damaged it... i think u need a new battery

i have the same problem with my razr.
mine usually runs down faster the more i text or talk on it.
i'd say you probably just need a new battery.
