Your view on music downloading?

i'm doing an open speech on music downloading in my english class. and i wanted to get a few opinions on what people think about illegally downloading music. is it okay? or are you robbing musicians and record labels? is it going to bring an end to the music industry all together? do musicians deserve the money they earn from making music? why pay when you can get it for free?
id really like your views. (:

it's not okay but i do it anyway. and i don't feel guilty because if i download a miley cyrus song (gag), she has way to much money and she doesn't deserve it. it's kind of my way of payback for her being everywhere.
