my laptop wont connect to the internet, either thru hard wire or wireless.?

Might be an internet explorer problem. Once you connect to either wireless or wired, try going to start -> Run -> cmd and then type in ping google.com

If you get a screen such as this one :

Pinging google.com [74.125.45.100] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 74.125.45.100: bytes=32 time=30ms TTL=235

Then it is a problem with your internet explorer. To fix IE, go to Tools, Internet Options, Advanced tab and click reset at the bottom.
