I wouldn't worry to much about that. We barely had enough troops to control Iraq. We don't have enough to impose martial law across the vast expanse of the fruited plain.

I think it will be later than that. I would expect it before the next election. Maybe that is why Americans are buying guns and ammo at a record rate?!
