We have a 1999 Mazda Millenia S with the Miller Cycle engine. Three weeks ago I asked about service code P0431 and I received some answers. I continued to research this issue and I found tha Mazda issued service bulletin 01-003/01 dated Feb 28, 2001. The bulletin indicates that the problem could be caused by oversensitive rear O2 sensors. This problem started when we had all 4 O2 sensors replaced about two years ago. Other service info says that the problem can be caused by corroded terminals on the O2 sensors. Has anyone resolved a problem with DTC code P0431 without replacing the catalytic converters?
