Texans will not be 12-4. 13-3 is a little high for the Chargers, though I do think they'll win their division, not the best record in football. Also think the Titans will have a better record, more like they were this season.

As for the NFC, I think you're totally off in the east. The Redskins are awful, and the Giants will be better than 8-8. Saints aren't going to be nearly that good, I actually think the Falcons will win the division, Panthers second. I also don't see the Bucs as being the worst in football. Vikings as the best team in football, not so much. They need a QB badly. I don't see the Lions coming close to 7 wins. But other than that, the rest looks ok.

Bears 5-11?

I find it very interesting that you project teams like the Texans (12-4), Saints (11-5) and Lions (7-9) to have the records you project. These 3 teams have one thing in common...a severe lack of taent on the defensive side of the ball. The Texans have some young talent but until it comes together they will struggle to win consistently, the Saints are very thin defensively and need a couple of great free agent signings and an impressive draft if they plan on not forcing Brees to win shootouts and the Lions....well if you hadnt noticed they just posted the second worst defensive scoring record in the entire history of football. They gave up 517 points, only once before (533) have more points been scored on a defense. They have holes at virtually every single defensive position (Sims was very good his rookie year...faltered this past season) and they could basically dump the entire rest of the starters and no matter the replacements they could get equal or better production (or lack of as it were). Some of your choices seem pretty reasonable, I wonder your theory on the Dolphins and why you believe they would suddenly be worse than the Lions given they improved with solid young talent. The Panthers have a lot of issues to overcome too, what if Peppers leaves (at this point it seems inevitable) and Delhomme continues to struggle? And the Bucs at 1-15....really, I would love to hear the reasoning behind this. I agree they have aging defensive guys and big problems at QB and will slip but 1-15? I dont see that at all. The Skins have QB problems but you like them to be 12-4 in a tough division when they faltered badly last year? And Portis isnt happy (and getting on in years, slipping in numbers is close with him), an average offensive line and some holes in the defense. I am guessing you are going with the homer theory on this one with the Giants still having a dominating defense and a top balanced offensive attack, the eagles still showing their talent and the Boys while disfunctional as ever still loaded with talent I think the Skins still have work to do to even sniff a playoff run. Predictions before free agency and the draft are tough and I like some of your thoughts record wise but some of them seem way off. Just an honest opinion.

Your rankings are almost spot on. I agree with you that Tampa Bay is going to collapse this year and become a laughing stock. But remember, the Rams still suck.
