I'm looking to flush out the gear oil in my Mazda MX6 after grinding it a few times learning. What kind of gear oil should I use?
Also can anyone explain to me all the different types of oil? I got so many types of gear and motor oil in my garage that I don't even know what the to use them for, or if I can even use them in my car.

Ask Mazda what they recommend for the gear box. As for the rest of your 5W40 for the engine. The rest I'd recycle.

Look in a Chilton's or Haynes repair manual.
