how long do it take to change both value gasket covers on a 90 buick riviera....

If you don't do it yourself (it is an easy job), just a few hours. Make sure that whoever does this work degreases the valve covers before they are reinstalled. When I do jobs like this, I also de grease the visible exposed portion of the cylinder head. This de-mucking improoves overall engine performance. Good Luck
