    2001 chevy tahoe wont start....?

    i replaced the fuel filter and it started right up . drove for about an hour then again wouldnt start took about 10 mins then it started .. drove an hour again had the same problem this time it took about 30 mins for it to start. next day nothing .. she acts like she wants to start but wont fire up. batterry is less than a year old (optima) .... can it b the the fuel filter again?????? its been two days she still wont start and theres half a tank of gas

    filter is on right &can hear the pump turn on

    If you eventually get it started and it runs fine, then it's not the filter.
    Check the battery.
    Inspect all components pertaining to the ignition system for wear and if required replacement.
    Check the air filter, possibly time for a bit of throttle body spray cleaner?
    Ignition wires original? Time for a change.
    Plugs old? Time for a change.

    You fuel filter typically will last the life of the vehicle.
