Anyone know anything about the Stow Boat?

The stow boat was a made in California in the 1980s. The company is long gone. This fold-up boat was made from some sort of PVC. My boat is leaking and I need to seal the seams but no sealant will stick - not silicone or epoxy. Any constructive ideas?

You could use polyurethane sealant, try the construction suppliers. Good old Sikaflex 291. Wet suit seam glue/sealant might be good.

Silicon only works as a gasket under compression, it's no good as a topical sealant anyway.

Epoxy will only grip mechanically to PVC - that is after a surface has been substantially roughened. I doubt it is flexible enough for this repair at all.

    Good luck.
