Does a blu-ray dvds come with one blu-ray disc and a regular disc?

I was wondering if you buy blu-ray movie will it come with a blu-ray disc and a regular dvd disc that you can play on regular dvd players. Someone told me that it did. A regular dvd comes with it that you can put into your computer and copy it an put it on your ipod. You should be able to use the regular dvd disc to play movies on your ipod.

Certain blu-rays will come with a digital copy of a movie. That is, you can copy it to your computer by putting it in the DVD drive and entering the special one time use code that comes with it. Then you can put it on an ipod...It's not actually a DVD that you can play on DVD players.

Someone told you wrong. Unless you have some kind of multi-disc bonus pack containing a "digital copy" disc, a Blu-Ray package contains only a Blu-Ray disc. This will be clearly labeled on the package - and cost nearly double the price of the BD alone.
