Can I save my ringtones to a memory card?

I currently have a LG Chocolate. I am up for an upgrade soon. I have ringtones that I want to save so I can transfer to my new phone. I have the Verizon Wireless Universal Memory Card. Is it possible to save my ringtones, pictures etc... on the memory card and then transfer them to my new phone?

The ringtones I want to save are ones that I have donwloaded... I do not want the ones that came with the phone.
 
Unlike what ^^ said...if it is a ringtone that you have downloaded yourself and not one of the preloaded ones that came with the phone, you CAN transfer them to your memory card and switch em over to your new phone when you get it. I traded from a nokia flip to a blackberry pearl and was able to keep all my ringtones and pictures.
 
You cant save your ringtones...you will have to buy them again,if you want em..

The rest of what you spoke of can be tranferred to your card
