I love the hiking at Angeles because most of it is shady, it's easy-moderate difficulty as well as beautiful & NOT DRY (very important!). The other hiking spots I've been to around LA (Laurel Canyon, Griffith Park, Mt Baldy) are nothing like. Are there spots like Angeles w/in 1 hour drive of Hollywood/Downtown LA?
