...probation officer and then turning18? He basically went M.I.A. and then he turned 18 and finally went to court. They've incarcerated him until his next court date which is 2 weeks away. What kind of consequences should he be expecting? The crimes he committed when he was a minor were being caught with marijuana and a lighter.

He will probably have to do some jail time. They sometimes give probation, but if you skip out on probation and court they call it absconding and will revoke the probation, in which case you have to go back to court to get sentenced for the original crime.
