Why does the internet promote female-on-male violence?

    If you look up
    'girl beats up boy'

    Unsurprisingly, you get just that.

    But if you look up:
    'boy beats up girl'

You get articles and videos titled 'girl beats up boy' again. Some of these articles and videos are tagged as humor, once again belittling female-on-male violence.

If you look up the same things on youtube you get the exact same thing. Yet on the rare occasion that there happens to be male-on-female violence in a movie, ad or anything, feminists go berserk and decide to boycott whatever it is that shows this.
Yes, and women are the ones selling themselves to the internet.

    Masochism isn't that mainstream
Miss Opinionative, I'm still getting the same results
Capricorn, are you kidding me? Click 'next' in both your links and you'll find that there are 15 vs 1920 results!
Feminists are in fact responsible for directing the media in this direction.
Okay, 70 million (f on m) vs 28.3 million (m on f), many of them are news articles, which doesn't make sense when male on female violence is said to happen far more often.

I don't think the "internet" itself is promoting anything. Looks like the reason is that more people want to see women hit men compared to men hitting women. Could it be that simple?

western culture promotes disdain for men in general, so it should come as no surprise that the internet, which is a reflection of that society would do the same. In this case, it manifests itself as female-on-male violence, which is celebrated.

Well, the secret is, when you enter those terms into the internet search engines, use quotes. Then, you will get different results.
