Okay I'm looking to get the new LG Lotus cuz its a purple, square flip-phone in which i find to be very exciting.

But right now I have Alltel.

My father, who is all knowing in phones, wants me to find out a couple things.
If I get the Everything Messaging Plan [which is $49.99] I only get 450 anytime minutes per month.

What we would like to know is if I can add Anytime Minutes on line whenever I wanted to if, say, I'm running out?

[I guess with Alltel if your running low on your anytime minutes you can go online and pay for more]
i guess he might mean, can i change my plan whenever i want to, to a plan with more minutes and features?
and all my friends who have sprint say that they can update their phone whenever an update appears.
Do those cost?

And my friends say that alot of the newer phones from sprint freeze up. I don't think that would bother me too much but I was wondering
-why that would happen and
-how you could fix it if it ever happened or
-if you would just need a new phone.
