This afternoon I restarted my computer after running a scan with Norton (clean) and one with Ad-Aware (which required a restart). My account is set to have a blank (black) screensaver, but it used the default Windows logo one as I hadn't logged in yet since restart. Only, it said MEDIA CENTER edition. I didn't even know there was a Media Center XP. And last time I checked, I had Professional Edition.
I haven't used the logo scrensaver prior to this, so i don't know if it's always been like that, but the only recent change I've made is downloading and using Ad-Aware to deal with a pop-up problem (that I think has been resolved). What the hell is Media Center Edition and why does my Professional Edition computer say that?
