We need a credit card. We have a REPO on our credit history. How hard would it be to get a credit card with a ,000 limit with the same bank we had the truck note with

You'll only know if you ask them. I suggest going in person if you can. They'll consider how long ago the repo was, and your credit history since. If you paid off the truck, that will work in your favor.

Unfortunately, though, many banks can only do what the software lets them. They enter your info and "beep" there's the answer.

But really, show up clean and nicely dressed, polite and professional and it's amazing how much harder a representative will work for you.

It is really going to depend on your payment history. Did you pay on time (you may have a good chance) or has the payments been always late? (outcome does not look good)
