My naval bar bell is very very sore.?

I have a my navel barbell for about a month now. I have been cleaning it really good and its not infected. There is some white puss that comes out but that is normal. The other day I noticed that the red little lump on the bottom of the the piercing and it was bleeding. Well the bleeding stopped and the red dot is gone but now if I touch the part between the two little balls of the barbell it hurts really bad. I dont know if it has just been irritated and its trying to heal or what. But yeah lol I dont have an infection just a small amount of white puss that comes out a little bit at a time its just the pain that is making me wonder.

crush up some aspirin, add water to make it into a paste. put the paste on after you get out of the shower, and then cover it with a bandaid and sleep with it on over night. it should go away in a day or two. really.

It could be "migrating". That happened to my friend's sister-in-law. She had to take her navel barbell out because her body was basically rejecting the piercing, and pushing it out of her body. It wasn't infected, it was just red, bleeding and hurt really bad.

umm yea. i have a theory about that. it probably hurts, because you jabbed a metal BARBELL through your flesh. that alone should give you some sort of insight.

dude. its infected. go see a doctor. my friend had the same thing and she had her belly destroyed to fix it. you made a bad decision getting your button pierced.
