The corporate holiday is coming up?

Here's what I hate about Valentine's Day.

Not only is it a tough day for single people, but it is a corporate holiday which we all have been sucked into. If you don't buy your mate flowers or candy or take her out to dinner, you are made to look cheap and uncaring. Those things should be done throughout the year rather than being forced into it by corporate America. But it is my most disliked holiday since not only am I single, but I would still not like it even if I had a girlfriend because I would feel forced to buy things or take her places because of this overly commercialized day when every day should be Valentines Day, not corporate America forcing it on me.

Whether your single or taken, what are your thoughts about the corporate side of Valentines Day?
