Why does MY car develop frost all over?

Firstly, I am in San Diego and the overnight low last night was supposedly in the 40s.

This morning, my car was covered with an 1/8 of an inch of ice on the windshields and on the body of the car itself. My roommates' cars don't seem to be covered in ice or nowhere near as much as mine. I had to scrap it off my car for several minutes to even be able to drive. Can anyone explain why my car would develop frost on it more than other cars in my driveway and elsewhere on the street and neighborhood?

The color of the car can affect frosting. Proximity to trees and buildings
    can also affect frosting.
