When can surround sound be too loud?

I put mine on at 25-30. ( a Sony surround sound system) I have all the speakers including sub. On action I put mine on 27-29. On animation, 28-30. Is this too loud for my ears or for my house. In my house when I put it that high the windows shake in heavy action scenes. he he

You will blow your speakers. It's too loud if the windows shake, if the neighbors complain, or if the cops come.

too loud is arround 100-150
