Need help with PS3 internet conection?

So im using an Eithernet cable direct from my ps3 to the wall and I have an internet conection with my computer, but when i try and conect the ps3 to the eithernet. I get "a conection to the network could not be established"? any one know what i need to do??

Um that is weird if you have a wireless router just try getting closer and set it all up then move it back and use the Ethernet cord and it isn't Einternet cord and if that doesn't work call Sony or hope for a better answer

try unplugging and replugging
