No, the other person with the different provider will only get the first 160 characters.

Question about Verizon Wireless text messages over 160 characters to other providers?

I have Verizon and I'm wondering if I go over 160 characters in a text message to someone with Sprint, ATT, etc. will they not receive anything that is over 160 characters or will they get the text as 2 text messages?

    Thanks!
