Bad Quality Sound When I Plug My IPod Nano Into AUX Input In 2007 Chevrolet

Silverado Truck? The quality is alot less vrs a CD. I am using the factory installed AUX input jack in my factory stereo and a Griffin TuneFlex. It plugs into my 12 volt lighter plug, then a cable from there to the AUX on my stereo. My IPod snaps into the Griffin TuneFlex. Any ideas on why the sound quality is so bad? Thanks for any help.

try plugging some headphones into the ipod and compare the quality to the radio. I may just be the ipod.

Other people aren't very happy with the Griffin.

See how it sounds without the Griffin- just patch the iPod to the AUX input and run it on its own batteries. Let the iPod sit in a cupholder. Start with iPod volume low and increase until it sounds right.
