How do I replace window in a 1992 Mercedes?

Left rear passenger seat. Can I replace the glass without replacing the regulator if I plan on never using that window? Help! Please!

Sure, you can remove the regulator if you really want to. You would have to weld/secure a stopper in each of the glass channels to keep the window glass in the fully closed position.
If you plan on ever selling this car though, not having a working rear window will hurt resale value.
