The front end of my GMC Sonoma is squeaking, I was told to grease my...

where do i find those? The squeek is on the drivers side

These "nipples" are commonly referred to as grease fittings or Zerk's. It depends on the year of your Sonoma. Some are sealed, meaning, greased for life from manufacturing plant, supposedly. Most have 7-9 fittings. They will be on upper and lower ball joints on a-frames on each side, steering linkage pivot points. Jack vehicle, secure it on jack stands and find them all. Wipe them off with a clean rag. Shoot the grease to them, just until it starts to come out of seal. Next recommendation: Take it to Wal Mart and visit the Tire Lube Express Center and ask for lube only. That usually runs around $7.00 They will do it there. If it is sealed, they will let you know and be no charge. Good luck. I hope this helps you get rid of that annoying squeak.

the ball joints but the uper control arm is the problem where they bolt to frame a common problem with the s-10,jimmie,& sonoma

Not easy to do if you do not have anyway safely to get under the vehicle.
Best way is to take it to one of the Lube shops, like Instant Lube:
Get your oil changed and oil filter changed and tell them you want it greased as well. And don't forget your air filter as well.

that is if you do not have any way to get underneath to grease it.

That is what I generally do if I am running short on time or the weather is bad or I am in a hurry and don't feel like doing it myself.
