Nextels blackberry curve with verizon service?

I have verizon but my step dad gave me the new blackberry curve nextel.... So can i use the phone with my verizon service, if i cant that's pretty lameeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

unless you can get the unlock code & flash it to Verizon.
if not,sell it on eBay & then with that money.
