have a 10 foot Jon alumina boat my grandfathers friend gave him to give me. Me and my buddy used it a lot last spring and summer but when we use it some how it seems to take in water. The water does not come in very fast so we can spend almost all day out in the boat but the water seems to fill up about to our akles and if we need to we just go to shore flip the boat over and then go back in fishing. If we put the boat in the water the water will not start to come in until we get into the boat. We have brough the bought to shore lifted it up to see if the water would come out but it does not and it seems to only come into the boat and we have no clue why or where. If anyone knows how I can try to repair my boat to try to make the water stop comming it please let me know.

Obviously, you have a faulty seam somewhere on your boat. Finding it may be near impossible, but with time and patience, and very close observation, you can find it. The leak sounds so slow though, I'd say 'why bother?' and just get a bilge pump or simply bail the water out occasionally with a small bucket. What works best for me is one-gallon plastic water or milk container. Just cut the bottom off the container off, leave the cap on, and it even has a nice built in handle.
