...an invitation to the White House? I somehow doubt they had the bipartisan get-together on Super Bowl Sunday just to eat nachos and hold a belching contest. If McCain wanted his voice heard in the stimulus bill discussions, why did he turn down a chance for a face-to-face conversation with Obama?
 
Give McCain a break. He wanted to watch his team compete privately. He probably already had plans with his family. It was the freaking Super Bowl for goodness sake! McCain can talk face to face with Obama whenever he wants to. And they have had many meetings since the inauguration. Why should the Super Bowl be made into a political forum just to give Obama a bipartisan Kodak moment? McCain's voice IS heard in the Senate, and he is opposed to the bill
