    Texting with my Nokia 6610i.?

Hi, I recently got a SIM card for my Nokia 6610i. When I'm texting somone and I write a letter eg. "c" it will come up with "cc" then I try and add an "o" and it comes up with words like "cannon" and others. Is there a setting to turn this off?, if so what is it called? thanks

yes, you can turn off that setting. it is called T9 on most phones. when you are typing a message you should be able to click "menu" or "options" and there should be a way to turn off T9.
