also i like to shop at marshalls and tjmaxx. they have really cheap clothes.you must go check it out. their prices are really cheap and they have name brands.(the store i shop at most of the time.)

Start buying the basics:

Black pair of flats.

Pair of plain denim shorts.

A plain belt.

And a White basic singlet top.

Exactly. I see this all the time. girls are just wearing ugly jeans and then a t-shirt and it dont look too good. u try some other jeans. try some cute shirts, hoodies, belts, ballet flats, bracelets, big plastic jewelry for necklaces. like from claire's. theirs are very cute. kohls has nice clothes. i personally like their rock clothes. but still, u usually find some cute clothese there. throw in a cropped jacket, play around with different clothes. jean skirt, and then different colored leggings. get some brightley colored scarves and add a punch of color to even boring outfits.

Look at wat other kids are wearing and mimic some styles tat look put together and nice. U can learn a lot from wat kids wear at ur school and get the feel of it.

Get a few fashion magazines. I always get seventeen magazine. it helps out.

try layering like a tank top then a hoodie or a fitted tshirt, while u can still see the colored tank sticking under, some cute jeans, maybe skinny jeans and some flats.

Put together ur clothes the NIGHT BEFORE. whenever id just randomnly pick them in the morning, i would always just quickly grab jeans n a shirt, n it would look kinda bad. but nite before u can try on a bunch of things and pick a rocking outfit. it really does help. A LOT.

Earings- add a little shine

Belts- you can use them to show off your curves. (where them on your waste, on your stomach, or under you upper female curves lol )

Leggings- good al year round

Various styles and colors of tank tops

Scarves- they can add style to even the most simple outfits

this is just the start,
what every girl needs in her closet

tank tops- a variety of colors to wear under sweaters pick ones that you like...go for bright colors, and make sure you have neutral colors like black white and gray also pick out some with graphics on it

t-shirts- t-shirts are great to have...making sure to balance them with some colors and some graphic ones

cardigans- these are great to throw over a tank top or t-shirt

pants- it is EXTREMELY important to have at least 2 pairs of light jeans, some dark jeans, black pants, at least 2 skirts ( a jean and maybe a colored one) also great to have a couple of skinny jeans too leggings are great too for longer tunics or sweaters [[black and brown]] and make sure to have a couple pair of sweat pants too

sweaters- great to have to throw over some things make sure you have a variety of designs or colors

shoes- always have a pair of regular gym shoes if your going to wear sweat pants, Birkenstock or maybe some uggs or some type of boots. also make sure to have flip flops for the summer and i love high tops you can play around with those too [[ you can lace them only half way and fold hem down or tuck yer skinny jeans into the inside of it, play around with them and have fun]] and a couple pairs of flats (get the special type of socks so they don't smell)

accessories- necklaces variety of lengths, go with funky designs and odd shapes, mix and match with graphic tee's pick up some cute bangles, bracelets, charm bracelets, play around with them. also have different types of scarfs, different colors, and pick up some with cute designs on them

coats- always have a winter coat, i personally like them with the fur hood, have one for fall or after winter ones and you know ones with cute buttons. and vests...don't forget those...very important. also not always the puffy vests but the ones that are black and you can just wear over a white t-shirt or long sleeve shirt

i know this sounds VERY overwhelming,
but once you go shopping, you will have tons of fun
play around and just have fun with everything
