I own a 1990 CRX and I just noticed that when I turn on my lights the car starts to make a wierd noise coming from the engine. I popped the hood with the lights on and it seems to be coming from the right side near the belt. The sound gets louder when i turn on the high beams.

ur battery might be going bad. ur alternator is trying to keep your battery from draining.

alternator going out take it to autozone and have them test it for you
