I love my country...don't get me wrong, but don't put us on a pedestal. There will probably never be peace because there is too much hate. I'd love to hope, but you must be realistic.

we would all have kings and have no say in our government and prolly still be fighting over land.....I think we are due for a WW 3.....but Obama will hopefully stop that

however if he takes troops out of Iraq.....then i fear WW3 in the middle eat.

As long as the U.S. remains a super power we will act as the traffic cop for the world. If we become a debtors nation and become a 3rd world country, then there will be no one to stop the dictators. Don't look to the U.N. since there are 84 Muslim countries in the U.N. and also many communist nations. They are looking to take over the world.

I take it you do not know how badly the USA has screwed up the world. But i suspect that at the mention of any facts to prove my argument that you will just bury your head in the sand.

There is no hope for world peace. There have been wars since the beginning of time and there will be wars until the end of time. If one family can't get along without arguing or fighting how can you expect the whole world to get along with one another.
