Writing Down Dreams: Stupid -or- Smart, for future reference?

I always write down my dreams of each night. Do you? Also do you think it's a waste of time or good to do?

I do the same, not any real reason, just write it down because they inspire some of my best stories, and if I don't write it down right after I wake up I will forget.

I think it's good! My best friend write a story who was based on one of her dreams and it's really cool. Dreams create incredible stories! You know Twilight? Well Stephenie Meyer, the author, she made Twilight after a dream! =D

Dream interpretation is a quest of humanity. Many authors advise to write down your dreams as soon as possible so you can recall as much detail as possible. Dreams reveal a lot of your personality and hopes yet sometimes they are so profetic. something that you should ask yourselve is how does that dream make you feel and what that dream came to tell you. I have dreampt i'm backing up my car and i hit something, that causes me to be more aware when backing up. continue writing your dreams and compile them through the years you will learn a lot about yourself.
