I have read about Guide Horses but has anyone ever seen someone with one?

There was a segment on TV recently that showed a man with a miniature horse that was trained to be a guide horse. He said that one reason he chose a horse was they live up to 35 years. He was concerned about having a dog for 10 or 11 years and then losing it, grieving, and also getting used to a new dog.
